Ireland May 2010

This year we took a short break in Ireland over the May bank holiday. We stayed in a new place at the foot of the Galtee Mountains in County Tipperary...it was great fun !!

All packed up and away we go. Bettie, Jack, Monty & Jenny

Of course HRH Tommy Byrne bagged the most comfy seat as usual !!

As soon as we arrived in Ireland we headed for the beach before our car journey !

We arrived at the cottage and Monty had to pose as usual !

It was a great secluded place..and all that forest was ours to hunt in.

The garden was great too for our get together to discuss plans...

Jenny kept everyone on their toes..it was her first holiday with us weis ....

At night we chilled out in the lounge ! with the TV and wine !

Each day we hunted in the forest...the trees went on forever

Bottoms up ! Jack disappeared after the birdies... the tail gave him away !

The red gates led to the forest. mother walked for miles with us .. she looked wrecked !!

Jack managed some serious posing in the lovely garden...

Jenny won a 2nd at the Irish pointer championship show

She also met lots of new friends at the shows

Jenny did some great retrieves..thought she was only a "pointer" !

We had a human day out to the "Rock of Cashel " under refurb !!

Tommy and Jenny had quite a lot to say about the others !

But the days soon pass..so a final run on the beach before we headed homewards....

Monty helped to pack us up ready for home......we hope to return here again.
